Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) Open House -- Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2010 5-7 p.m. Jefferson Learning Center  -- Parent Education classroom is room 115. The theme for Open House is Literacy -- I will have play dough and recipes in my room and the book "Anansi", a tale from the Ashanti people.  Make a simple spider headband  with your child and choose a symbol for a strength that your child exhibits (like Anansi's sons) for the headband. I am looking forward to meeting you and your children!

Watch for more information on "The incredible Years", an 8-week discipline class offering in English, Spanish, or Somali. It is team taught with our wonderful partners at Kandiyohi County Public Health.

Watch for more information on "Brown Bag Lunch Topics" planned for some Friday lunch hours this fall.  Bring your lunch and hear a quick informational talk about a parenting topic such as "Bedtime" or "Parenting Gifted Preschooolers".  Do you have a suggestion for a topic?
