Aquatic programs run year-round for youth and adults. Opportunities include Swimming Lessons, Friday Night Swim, Life Guard Training, Water Safety Instructor Training (WSI), Robbin's Island Beach, Dorothy A. Swimming Lessons. Our Learn-to-Swim offers something for everybody. A unique six-level instructional approach is unlike anything offered by other aquatic training programs. Plus our instuctors are trained lifeguards and certifed Water Saftey Instructors by the American Red Cross, so swimmers of all ages and abilities are in good hands.

Adult Opportunities: Morning Lap Swim. A perfect opportunity for people young and old to stay in shape before school, work, or just a way to start your day. The junior high and senior high pools are available Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The JH has sessions at 6am and 6:45am. The SH has a session at 6:00am. Preregistration is required! Aquatic Classes: Lifeguard Training. The purpose of this course is to provide lifeguard candidates with the skills and knowledge necessary to keep the patrons of aquatic facilities safe in and around the water. The course objectives include establishing an awareness of responsibilities of a professional lifeguard, as well as how to recognize different situations, prevent accidents and provide rescue skills when needed. Classroom materials included in fee. Please bring proof of age to the first day of class. Must be 15 years of age on or before the last day of class. Dorothy A. Olson Aquatic Center. We offer a new aquatics facility with water slides, diving boards, and zero depth pool with interactive toys. It is a great place to be for all ages! For more information click here.
